I have been trying to hit 100 miles on a charge on my 2013 FX 5.7. Riding solely for range, seldom going over 35 mph, and, keeping the amps below 20, I am consistently able to
hit 90. As I get closer to empty, I begin doing laps around an area with a known outlet. One time it died completely at 4% left, so, I was emboldened a bit, using that as empty.
The next time I went out, I allowed myself to do larger laps, and, it died at 6%. Both the gauge and app show empty at 19%, and, go to zero miles, so, Joe Average
shouldn't have any issues. I am not sure about a "New" 2013 FX as I got mine with a few hundred miles and a few months on it. but, it has always charged to "full" showing
5.029 KW, and, 95%. If I turn the key on for a few seconds, then, back off, it will charge to 97% and 5.229. A third time will bring it to 100% and 5.336 KW. The extra 5% might
give me an extra mile, so, not something that I do often.
