My only problem is they're are so many combinations that I am stalling for my DSR because "oh, black with white stitching? Black with brown seat leather? Red seat leather? No maybe red piping? Bomber black or natural black? What color for the stitching?"

So on and so forth... But they've done an incredible job by the look of it!

I have until Tuesday to decide.  I have an appt to get a custom one made to assist with carrying my dog Charger.  I'm leaning towards black with blue piping tho.  The bike in the pictures was Mike Corbins personal Zero motorcycle.

So how did it feel?  Was it better than straddling a 2x6?  That's what my SR's seat reminds me of.

At first I thought the price was a little bit high, but the pictures don't lie, that's one well thought out and beautiful piece of work, can you tell me if they use the same seat pan or if you can just order one and bolt it on

You just order one and bolt it on.  But you need to take 2 allen screws out of your stock seat and transfer the bracket over, takes less than a minute.

My seat is modified to make it easier to carry my pup.  I was having a little trouble seeing over her head recently as she has grown, and also she was having trouble fitting between me and the windscreen when she wanted to lay down.  So I moved the rider seat area 1 1/2" farther back, just over 2" higher, and a little wider in the back area.  But everything else is the same as the Corbin seat you order.  Charger is much happier now that she fits better. :)

Can you elaborate on this? I would not mind higher seat for myself and it being a bit farther back might not be a bad idea too. How did you work these details out with Corbin? Did it affect the price?

Kocho to make it custom you must ride it in to have one of the seat wizards work on it in person which costs a lot more.  People ride from all over the country every day however to do this.   If it weren't for my dog I would have just had the seat installed like Corbin designed it.

Remember the Corbin seat already gives you more leg room by allowing you to sit much further back than the stock seat.  I'll bet you like it just as it is, just pick the colors you want.

Has anyone ordered one and received it yet or expecting to receive it soon?

A lot depends on how tall you are.  I bought a Corbin for my Beemer R65, and I had to heavily modify it, since I'm only 5'6".  Otherwise, it would've been much more uncomfortable than the stock seat.

I'm still amazed how comfortable Charger is riding on the tank of a frigging bike.
