so I got this chintzy thing at Radio Shack, jerry-rigged it to my electric vest, with some help from Frank Caridi, and had to jerry-rig it myself again. Then that connection broke when I accidentally pulled on it.

Now when I connect the wires correctly, I get nothing.
Did I short it out because it was on when I pulled it apart?
Did I short out my electric vest?
Should I just keep replacing these or do any of you know of a better product to connect an electric vest?

I gotta fix it this weekend so I don't die of freezation riding to work! It's been so cold here, like almost 50!
 :P

thanks!!!

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / WTB front wheel 2013 Zero S

Sooo a few years ago, I put a massive dent in the S style front wheel of my 2013 FX. And now it's finally high time I put a new tire on that wheel. But as predicted, the dent is big enough to not allow a new tire to seat properly and it's leaking a bit. 2 PSI in the first few hours.

I know bending dents back into shape is a bad idea, so does anyone have an S front wheel for sale? Or recommendations for something lighter (but sturdier, of course, no magnesium!) that will fit? Man, that wheel is heavy for aluminum!

Please enjoy my finely crafted craigslist ad... Then buy my damn jacket because I already own a perfectly good PINK mesh jacket. Thanks Zero, for wasting my time trying to sell some shit I don't need to pay for all the GAS I bought over the past 2 months!

General Discussion / hi from Pinkyracer!

Protomech, Michael Beatty strongarmed me into joining. I'm not very active on forums, as I'm busy with my boring and tedious day job that pays me enough to do things like run off to Portland and write about MotoCzysz, or the Isle of Man to write about the TT Zero (sadly, not this year). If you don't know, now you know: http://gas2.org/author/susannaschick/ shameless self plug. Also wrote my first Jalopnik piece last month, about the MotoGP race at Austin. Covered it here too: http://rideapart.com/author/susannahfl/

I will be covering eRoadracing at Laguna and Indy, and probably Miller as well, as it's a fun road trip. If you didn't read the review on Gas2, I LOVE my Zero FX. Like, LOVE. Like, more than any other bike I've ever had, probably. Although I certainly loved my Monster 750 when we first met, I think this is more special. Shaq Mariposa (my bike's name) is so ultra-super rad.
