BTW it is not me nor my FX, I would never pollute the air with a burnout ::)
But it is amazing to see how easy and "silent" a burnout can be.

I'd be less concerned about polluting the air than I would be about having to replace the tire so much sooner.

But yeah, it's quite a demonstration. Ultra precise, too....360 degrees, no more, no less, and no wandering from the central point.

It looks like some sort of rider training track, did you shoot it or do you know where it was shot?

It was shot at the Supermoto G-Cup in Pocking (Germany) the rider is quite young but really good.

I guess the tire is gone after the race so it will be replaced anyway. I am impressed  of such a burnout but deep in my heart it is just polluting!

Ah, if he's preparing for a race, especially on such a tight course, it's probably beneficial -- it pre-warms the tire. Doesn't do much for the front tire though.

I guess he should do the burnout on a thick copper sheet while moving back and forth (that would be a good trick) thus transferring some heat to the front tire.  ;)

Great idea trikester. Much easier than tyre warmers!

Trikester is a genius, you should get a patent for this idea 8). Maybe a heatpipe system will improve your idea ;D

I saw there is a Video of the racecourse, I don't know if they race often on such a surface but I would be scared a bit to do. (OK I am a sissy in this situations)

An other video of the FX->MX in a competition.
The first time the bike in front is a self built with a Zero Power Train.

It is awesome how he pass the others.
