A couple of days ago, I had the unfortunatel experience that I tipped over the left side of my zero when I mounted from the left side. The reason was that the ground was a very small amount slopy to the left and forward (but not too much, so the bike had been still parking ok from my point of view, combined with that I got somewhat stuck with my right leg in the seat when mounting. That it tiltet over to the left side ove the kickstand, completely cought me off-guard.
Anyway, it looked as no damage was done, but shortly later I noticed that the kickstand now hits the frame when switched upside.
I have attached some images and would be grateful for any help how to remedy this problem.

First thing I'd do is put a piece of tape on the frame to prevent any further damage to the paint.
Then I'd take it to my dealer or any other motorcycle mechanic to see if they can fix it.
The biggest concern is whether there was enough damage to the kickstand that would cause it to fail at some point in the future. It's not a fun experience coming back to your bike after work and seeing it on its side.

Could it be the impact rotated the metal bracket to which the stand is attached? I have not looked at mine, but from the photos here there is this one bolt holding it in place? Loosen that and reposition? I'll look later at mine...

It will definitely be the bracket that is either bent or moved. Hopefully Kocho will be right and it has just moved.

when i am out at the track i am constantly scrapping my kickstand in the turns and it is leaving a lighter but similar mark as yours. i even thought about removing the kickstand but thought better of it.
in your situation im sure you just need to loosen, or give the bracket a little pull and it will be fine.

I tried to loosen it. It is connected via two screws, one above and one below. I loosened both of the so far that the kickstand became very loose. I then pulled at it as much as possible and fastened the screws again. Unfortunately, it seems to be at the exact same position as before :(
I am really at a loss currently. The whole thing seems to be very sturdy and doesn't look as if it could bend easily. On the other hand, I also do not see, how I could reposition it.
Could you guys have a look at your kickstand from the top? Does it look like mine does, or does it show a different angle?

Check to make sure the pin that holds the kickstand to that big beefy bracket isn't bent. You probably need a new clevis pin. When it gets bent the kickstand doesn't go up straight.

First, thanks to all of you for your help.
In the end, I decided that I will probably not be able to repair it myself. So, I took the long road to my dealer and brought the bike to him. He looked at it and thinks it cannot be repaired. Something seems to be bent. So, he ordered the spare parts from Zero and will see, what exactly is damaged and replace it.
So far, so good. Now, I hope that I don't run into that Customer Service problem with Zero and the extremely long lead times for spare parts order...

I have the exact opposite problem; since lowering my swingarm, my kickstand hangs too low & occasionally catches on rocks etc. in LH turns. I plan to loosen the kickstand mounting bolts and put a thick washer on the lower bolt, between the mount & frame - in your case, doing the same thing on the top bolt instead should drop the kickstand end down and hopefully stop it from hitting the swingarm. It's an easy thing to try.

I've been grinding the front edges of my boots off in the curves, even ground the pegs a bit, but haven't gotten that far. I don't have a track anywhere near me either though.

From the photos you supplied the arm looks in-line with the bracket, I doubt its the clevis pin, my money is on a bent bracket.

My dealer tested the cleavis pin and told me that this seems to be ok.
So, he ordered everything from Zero that might be bent, bracker, kickstand, not sure, if even more. He told me that the spare parts are rather cheap from Zero, so that is not a problem. But the waiting time might become am issue. So, he rather orders everything that might need replacement at once instead of trying one thing first and then the next and the next.
I just hope that they have the spare parts available in NL, so that they hopefully are with my dealer in only a few days...

Here's some update on the status:
The bike is now in the third week at the dealers side.The dealer had ordered the spare parts more or less immediately. Two weeks after the order with no response from Zero he called the NL distribution base to get told that they have all parts in stock and can send them immediately, which my dealer then, of course, asked them to do.
It took them another week to send the parts "immediately". My dealer did not get any notification from Zero, but received an email from FedEx about a package that will arrive at his place in the middle of next week. He assumes it is the parts he ordered for me. If he is right I will get my bike back in the second half of next week, which means altogether it took four weeks to replace the kickstand :(
I really hope I NEVER get any serious problem with my bike!

Yeah, I was very reluctant to do that. But the dealer told me that 1) I really shouldn't drive with it and 2) he thought that he can repair it without spare parts. I brought the bike to him just before Eastern (when I was visiting family anyway) and hoped I could get it back shortly after Eastern, when I am back. If I knew that it would take four weeks, I would definitely never have given the bike to the dealer.
In case of such a light issue, I would definitely prefer to have the dealer order any potentially needed spare parts and bring the bike to him, when he has received the parts. Or for this issue, even just send them to me.

Update:
Zero finally delivered the spare parts YESTERDAY. So, that is about four week after order and three weeks after they confirmed that all parts are on stock.
My dealer ordered all potentially damaged parts of the kickstand. While Zero, unfortunately, send the wrong kickstand, we were lucky as it was the bracket that was bent. So, my dealer exchange the bracket and I can get my bike back next week.
In the end, there are two learnings from this:
- Zero really has an awful after sales service!!! :(
- In case of such an accident, the bracket is, indeed, the most prominent candidate for bending

Sounds like one more "typical" about a month-long service ... For likely parts to break like belts and bar ends, my dealer stocks them precisely to avoid such long delays. But they can't afford (I guess) to stock much more than that, so it takes weeks to get them from Zero.
