Title: Zero DSR ‘18 fly screen or options?
Post by: Marty on January 29, 2020, 06:13:52 PM
I am currently looking at installing a minimalist windshield on my DSR 2018, something like the OEM fly screen on the 2013 model, and i am looking at options (brand model) that would work with the DSR 2018. I am not looking at the MRA since they are too big for my taste, basically want something that covers the instruments and that doesn’t interfere much with the headlamp.

Anyone has suggestions?

For reference, this is the OEM fly screen on my 2013DS: https://zeromanual.com/wiki/SDS_Platform/OEM_Fly_Screen

I believe that an owner has adapted one for their 2014+ model, but I don't have a good recipe for it.

Maybe there's a shroud meant to fit against the headlamp (which is available generically) that could fit with a custom bracket.

I forgot to index Barracuda's aftermarket products on the unofficial manual - thanks!

My oem screen is pretty small, but not that small.

Thanks for all the tips. It seems that the 2013 fly screen is pretty hard to find on internet in the US or Canada...might be trying to go with some universal ones that fits nicely with my DSR.

MRA is Zero's supplier for the windscreens, and there is this "NRN" model available:
