I'm hopefully going to get it back to the dealer this weekend for them take a peek at it.

Oh, Zero told me that a longer kickstand doesn't exist for the DSR.

I think it may be a FX stand, the part listing didn't give a model.  They list a small, medium, and long stand.  If it doesn't work then you would need some type of foot attachment to make it longer.
