I need to order the 3 rear wheel bearings for my 2012 DS. What name brand bike (year and make) has bearings that would work? Are all 3 bearings identical for the rear?

You can buy bearing off the shelp if you know the bearing number this be a lot cheaper than dealer markup, else measure outside diameter, inside diameter and width of bearing and the shop will be able to find your bearing. Best is just take them your old bearing.

If you measure the bearing be aware that most bearings are measured in metric units. Best to use a caliper.

Another Reason why a Service Manual / parts list would be Benificial.

Turns out the rear bearings (there are 3) are standard 6904-2RS bearings.
I bough these ones (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0055DN5PE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and they work fine.

It doesn't show the brand but from the price they are most likely from China and I would bet money that they don't last long. I've had long and sad experiences with cheap Chinese bearing's longevity. Some were used in products I was making and some in products I purchased.
When I was an owner of a power supply manufacturing company we had several large customers who insisted on us guaranteeing that we would not use cooling fans with Chinese bearings, in the supplies they were buying from us. These were telecom companies and depended on long life equipment.
I would suggest that before you use these bearings you inquire as to their place and name of manufacture. Or else just go by the same bearings from SKF or another recognized quality manufacturer. You will have to pay more, however.
Sorry to be a "downer" here.

No problem Trikester. I appreciate your advice. The mechanic I use recommended those bearings, but I don't know what basis he had to recommend them.

OK, I hope they work well for you. Please let us know if you do have any problem with them.
Happy riding.
