I have a 2023 Rebelle RS.

It is a great bike that will not fit every need, just like any other bike.

What is your specific intended use for the bike?

That is really the main consideration.   If the bike can fill that mission role, you will love it, if not you will be disappointed.

Try one of the shops that repair leather motorcycle track suits.  They also make custom suits, so they will likely be able to help.

PArd, what rear shock did you go with in the end if you ditched the Ohlin?

Custom unit.  Wanted something with a hydraulic preload adjuster, separate compression and rebound adjustment hi/lo for each.

The guys at the track will give you some ideas, but if you cannot reposition your foot to avoid scraping toe, you may consider raising the pegs.  They sell offset adapters so you can just raise the pegs without putting on new rearsets.

something along these lines: https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/puig-relocation-brackets-for-adjustable-footpegs?srsltid=AfmBOopjDxUu5yFb-VEWLq6o5dTlORbSKW89TstxX7WY62YxrPv1F_5KQBc&sku_id=10037615

Dragging toe is bad, it can cause your foot to get pulled off the peg.  Address that issue ASAP.

Enjoying your posts.  Keep em coming!

The problem in my neck of the woods is lack of charging infrastructure.  Many I ride with would buy an Energica for the performance thrill, but there is just too few places to charge.

These are folks with several bikes in the stable, and with means to buy more, but they will pick up an RSV4 Factory because they can actually ride it all day long.

If there was a fastcharger at every gas station, sales would skyrocket.

My Rebelle is a stand alone mission specific machine for a daily 70 mile spirited recreational loop.  I love it.  But the limit of use is the lack of charging availability.

I have the Energica Ohlins rear shock for sale.  About 500 miles on it.  If anyone is interested I can send you pictures and take your calls to discuss.

Upgraded to a different unit.

SOLD

It runs $781 new.

Less expensive than the full Ohlins option.  Seems like an excellent value over stock.

Energica / Re: Chain Ticking
« on: April 12, 2024, 02:23:47 AM »
How are you swapping chains so often?  New master link/rivet every time?

If my chain was doing anything other than running smoothly, knowing it has been well maintained, I would swap it ASAP.

There could be corrosion hidden in the pin of one of the sealed links that could cause a catastrophic failure.

Treat these machines like aircraft.  You do not want to ever experience a failure.  Change for quality components BEFORE the operational items expire on you.

Energica / Re: Rear Brake Disc for Ribelle
« on: April 04, 2024, 07:34:42 PM »
@Pard: Thx for your quick reply!

What you quoted (discs are unique OEM stuff) appears correct for the rear disc.
The front discs are quoted in the Brembo catalogue for the Energica Eva EsseEsse (see attached PDF), so they fit the Ribelle as well. Brembo product no. is 78B408B2.

Good to know!

Does anyone have the specs for the rear brake disc for a '22 Ribelle besides the diameter of 240 mm?

It should be an OEM Brembo disc, but in the Brembo catalogue I cannot find anything. Is there the possibility to order somewhere else bsides via my Energica dealer?

Thanks for your input!

From Chris Paz:

"The Brembo rotors that come standard on most motorcycles are not offered as spare parts by Brembo. They have manufacture unique SKU and are only available through the OEM."

You can email Brembo and they may be willing to offer you replacement options based on the mounting dimensions they have on file.  You could take the measurements yourself and reach out to other manufacturers as well.

EBC has some units that fit based on this thread:

These are reported fit the front:
