Has anyone ever received a notice from Energica stating that there was a new FW version available for their bike?

Energica / DC Fast Charging is Sub Zero Conditions
« on: January 17, 2024, 12:13:50 AM »
Not that it applies but did you see the news about Tesla's fast charging stations in Chicago failure, Good thing we don't or at least most of us don't ride in those conditions. I guess if you store your bike in sub zero temps, don't charge it till it gets above freezing.

Front first then rear, I have a Bursig lift that I'm trying to mate to the Ribelle.

Joy

Sounds typical. I could do this myself if I had the cable and software, I hate to travel 800 miles to a dealer and go through what you did.

Energica / Re: Regen Question
« on: December 07, 2023, 06:03:40 AM »
Hello,

I plan on possibly making a regen lever for my Eva. In that case, the throttle signal will be run through a microcontroller first and be mixed with the regen lever, to create any output I want.
Even without the regen lever, it is of course possible to use a microcontroller in between the throttle and the bike to implement any mapping you want.

best regards

Yes it should work use a quadrilateral shift circuit followed by a flip/flop coupled to a Schmidt trigger on the output.

Does anybody know or have witnessed what happens when the dealer does an update? What is the interface? Do they access internet then connect to bike via some magic box ?

I'm 800 miles from nearest dealer and wonder what all is involved?

Energica / Re: Seat alternatives

Got the seat last week, put about 100 miles on it, much easier on the hind end and better position under hard acceleration. It might be an 1 inch or less taller.
