So I ordered a new mirror from AF1, and they sent it out.

This one is nothing like any of the mirrors I've seen on any of the bikes.  Admittedly, I didn't look closely at everyone else's but...

No, the mirror I have gotten is this weird cast metal one with the old ZERO logo on it.  It is not the light-weight mirror on a stalk that's on my bike or the bikes in the showroom.

What the heck have I gotten?

This looks to be the same style, 2010 DS



EDIT: No idea if that's a stock bike, I haven't seen any Zeros that look much different to current ones except for the dirt bike style ones. This is also supposedly a 2010 DS going by the title, but is obviously an S. Same style mirrors though.

Yes, that mirror style is for pre-2015 model years, documented here:

It's not the mirror in my parts manual or the part number for the 2014.

Mine (and the number I have) look like the new mirrors.

Hrm.

It's like there's a part in-between that's missing?  Anyhow, mine look pretty much like cheap Ducati ones.

That is the same mirror that was on my 2013 FX. Now on my updated 2014 S.
I actually prefer it to the newer ones. Seems to be more adjustable
