Is it illegal to record a call *at all*, or does it just make the recording inadmissible in court?

I'm gonna try really hard to make *three* of the events over the two weekends... Birmingham, then Chattanooga and Huntsville...

Normal for it to fail downloading logs for a powertank that does not exist.

**That's** why I can't get the app to go past 65% when trying to email the logs?  Sheee*eee*eeesh  >:(

As one of my programmer friends likes to say, "There are no solutions, only tradeoffs."

Electric Motorcycle News / Re: Curtiss Zeus Radial V8

Seems like the Zeus concept a year or so ago looked different... and the Hera seems to be gone from their website.  I had thought Curtiss had both of those bikes at the Drive Electric Week Meetup in Birmingham in '17 or '18... can't remember which one it was.

General Discussion / Re: A Hybrid Motorcycle?
« on: July 13, 2019, 03:39:50 AM »
Thinking out loud here... a Volt-like hybrid bike would just need the gas generator addition to the existing bike, right?  So maybe let the gas generator take up the space where the monolith is now, and let the battery only be a Power Tank... the electric motor etc would all be the same, right?

I'd have considered a bike like this, particularly after experiencing the ease of a Chevy Volt.  Of all the EV conversations I've had over the years of owning a Leaf and Zero since 2012, then a Volt since 2017, I've only ever been able to convince someone to get a Volt... and they love it.  I was stunned when GM decided to drop it altogether, as my EV experience has convinced me that:  a) it should be a new EV owner's first EV, since it doesn't insist on learning a new way to drive (by having to plan charging); b) it's a perfect second car behind a pure electric, as it is now the long-distance-trip vehicle for the family.

Was about to mention that TusconEV option... but $100+manual-construction vs $150 (half the price they were just a few years ago) almost seems a wash to me.
What is the "+manual-construction " that you're referring to all about?

Ohhhhh... I didn't scroll down far enough... I only got to "The Inlet with 1 meter of cord", where you'd have to add on the 110 end.

Jarrett -- look further down, to "J1772 To Zero Adapter"... which is exactly what DonTom listed </ self-facepalm... is that called selfpalm?  wait, maybe not...>

I assume this requires a vehicle with a CCS port on it, right?

Buy Sell Trade / Re: Zero Seat Wanted
« on: June 11, 2019, 08:08:56 PM »
Ah, my mistake... I was thinking this was the regular seat new -- https://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=95707&sku=ZM24-08451&description=Zero+MC%27s+Touring+Saddle++ZM24-08451

I now see that's an upgraded seat.

So I reckon my price should be $75 instead.
