Buy Sell Trade / Re: Diginow chargers and 2013 ZeroS
« on: August 02, 2019, 08:44:32 PM »
In the middle of the post, I did state I am in Ohio, I am in Alliance Oh

The 2013 Zeros had a battery recall for a particular run of batteries so mine was replaced at that time.

I am assuming the 12.5 listed in ZF12.5 means the battery is 12.5kw

« on: August 14, 2018, 07:15:38 AM »
On my 2013 S the kill switch stop working and would not turn off the engine.  Except the one time I left it in the off position and I hit a bump and my bike shut off on me. When I took my bike in for the battery recall zero replaced the switch and then it was fine.   My bike did fall on its right side too before the kill switch died.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Re: My LED Headlight
« on: August 29, 2016, 03:58:49 AM »
I installed the OPT7 LED Headlight on my 2013 S after seeing it on this forum.  I was concerned when the instructions told me to leave off the rubber gasket off the back of the head light housing.  but just got caught in my first thunderstorm after the install and it work out just fine.  I like having the fan running the the light to remind me the bike is is on.  One time one of my co-works came over to talk to me while I was getting off my Bike and I ended walking into the office leaving the keys in the bike and in the on position.

I  like my end bar mirrors but I have to dip my head down much further then before to see them.  But at least I get a good picture as to what's behind me.

I wish I  could go but I am short on vacation days and short on money after buying a Diginow super charger and Corbin seat and all the other cool accessories I  found out about on this forum.  Thanks everyone!  Plus with all this talk about how much better a 2016 S is better then my 2013 S makes me want to upgrade.

My Corbin seat has been a godsend to me and my over sized back side.  But I do not have an issue reaching my handle bars.  My only grip is the Alligator pattern of the leather on the seat has stretched out to the point it is almost gone.  If could do a do over I would pick black snake to match the sides or gray snake to create some contrast and reduce radiant heat build up.

My 2013S did not have any charging issues until my Monolith Battery was replaced.  Then the GFCI outlet started to trip and then I found the tip of the kettle cord melted where plugs into the bike.  I replaced the cord now the GFCI outlet dose not trip but  the new cord looked fine for a few days but now looks like the kettle cord might be melted a little bit.  I was thinking that it my have been a close lighting strike when the plug was still hot from charging that caused the melting but now that the new kettle plug shows  signs of melting a little bit I am not so sure.  Plus when I first got the bike back from the dealer I did not have any charging issues until the Landlord replaced the garage door but a bad storm came through around the same time.

I have invoice number 11 and I also believe I am the last one in the DigiNow list.  So it looks like I am going to have to wait until after August 19th to get my hands on my super charger.  At least I will be able to learn from everyone install experiences before hand.  When first ordered it I was not yet aware of this forum and I sill refuse to join Facebook.  So  for I while there I was thinking I spent a lot of money on Vaporware.

I have found myself multiple times in a sever down pours on my way home from work with no issues on my 2013 S and once found my self with water up to foot pegs during a flash flood with no issue.

Is the power tank plastics going to fit my 2013S ?  I am assuming the fake plastic gas tank connectors have not changed but want to make sure before I place an order.

How did you mount them?
Do you need the adaptors?
If so, what size?

Yes adapters are needed.

CRG Billet Internal Adapter For CRG Bar End Mirror
Color:Black
Size:7/8"

I had to make a hole on the end of the rubber grip insert the adapter insert the adapter and turn a screw to cause the adapter to expand so it would not fall out.  Then attach the mirror to the adapter.  The instructions that come with the mirror & adaptor are good.

I got them on my 2013 S work great.  Got sick staring at my elbows.  But no lane splitting here so the extra width is not an issue for me.  You can also get end bar mirrors from the same company that are round but fold in for lane splinting.  But mirror you looking at do fold up to make the bike as wide as your handle bars.
