« on: January 30, 2022, 06:36:40 PM »
I know this is a really old post, but I was just looking at your pictures of the disassembled Zero motor. Were the bearings pressed onto the shaft or into the housing?

For the 2013 the face plate where the output shaft was had the bearing. Old private video I made when I had some bearing issues in an old motor. I don't have this motor anymore.

Bike still available, open to reasonable offers. We are building a house this year ... like we are building it ourselves, not having it built ... and the funds go a long way to help our build.

If you are in north country and have items of equal value to trade I am open to trades as well so long as they work towards our house build.

For those who wish to follow us and our progress you can currently find us on project anavita at FB and IG ... I have like 15-20 days backlog of video I haven't edited so we are not active on any platform for video yet. There is a good chance the video wont be edited till the project is done or when I return to work this winter.

Still available, migrated into our newly completed garage in the off chance someone was interested over winter and wanted to see it.

Had two people offer me trades but sadly they were not something I was interested in (a 27ft boat and a classic car which wasn't in high enough demand) ... I feel for people who are trying to sell right now >__<

I think I have been rejected with my own trade offers a good 90 times now ... tough times.

Can't believe this thing is still for sale :/

Haven't given up trying to sell or trade it just yet but winter is coming and I will have to bring it inside soon.
Updated the listing to include trades I am looking for.

You can find more pictures (recent) here https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/edit/?listing_id=297254731250445

Oh, neat!  Please.  I tried contacting Hollywood Electric about theirs but they've never gotten back to me ^-^

I really like round lights on bikes.

-Crissa

Send me a PM with your offer for the parts listed as well as where I would need to ship it.

I believe the way HE mounted their light was a little different than this one as this solution mounts into the existing headlight holes. You might want to anodize these, or paint them but the hard work is done ;)

Did anyone buy the headlight?  Does it come with a housing to protect the wiring and mounting instructions?  ^-^

-Crissa

Nope no one has claimed it yet. I can take pictures and send them to you if you like.
The housing, the light, my custom mounting brackets along with the screws I used which are not stock will come as one. ;)

Updating listing as I have removed the headlight to sell off individually since people seemed to be interested in it (also allows me to drop the price of the bike)

If you want any of my accessories speak up fast ... reposting to CL soon at the lower price listed here.

I have a diginow pan, never used, still in box.

$300 and you pay shipping from NH,USA

Can provide pictures if you require.

11
Diginow dongle and pan would be good
Are you saying you are interested in those items off the bike?

Depending on the people looking the bike now (via CL) those items might not be included with the bike ... all depends on the use the new owner sees with the bike ... one of the people looking at it are interested in touring though so the pan would go with them.

Buy Sell Trade / Re: MY13 tires (new + slicks)
« on: January 20, 2019, 08:54:25 PM »
Heavy duty tires, what I've been using, they work well.

I love these tires so much it is pretty much all I use now lol The front typically lasts twice as long as the rear and my rears tend to last 16-18k ... which is ridiculous. They work great year round in DC weather (-10F  - 110F) but might not work so great when I move more north or I would keep the rear being sold here to apply to my DSR when the rear on the stock tires wears out.

I have a new set of BT45's for a MY13 S taking up space in my house.
3016 for front tire date 2516 for rear.
I will throw in a pair of racing slicks to fit the same bike for free.

(see attached)

Rather not ship these ... as the cost would be substantial I am sure :/
I am located currently near DC, USA

I'm concerned about taking it in for motor commissioning lest it get upgraded despite instructions not to. I wouldn't be surprised if the commissioning process calls for a firmware upgrade before proceeding.

You don't need to upgrade the firmware to do a commissioning. And that reminds me ... I should likely check my alignment of the encoder :/
