Sounds like a dc/dc converter is stuck on, check by unplugging the dc/dc if the lights go out and the enable pin doesn't have battery power it's welded internally

Let the speculation begin! I'm wondering if the "F" stands for fast charge (as in CCS/chademo), judging by the picture it doesn't mean fairing, unless the headlight fairing counts?

 When I was getting the upgraded battery on my 2013 I was told that even if I could have the powertank anchored securely I couldn't do it because of the wiring and programming required, that was from Zero directly (Aaron I believe) so I don't think it is possible with the hardware in the 2013, unfortunately I can't find the emails so this is from memory

Just throwing out the possibility that it was a nerve being pinched, I have back problems that have occasionally shown themselves as an irritated nerve coinsiding with a "lightning bolt" feeling up my leg, there's always the first one when someone says when did that start!

My meanwells are set to 58.1v each (2s2p) from the factory (2013 s), worst thing that I imagine can happen is it throws an error code for the contactor open with voltage at the auxiliary input, I've had this error occurred a few times when using the fast charge port, shut down the bike and it goes away, but keying on the bike will throw an error if it goes more than a half an hour without throttle (I remember someone had this error with diginow v1)
