Title: '16 S Front axle torque
Post by: c-fut on January 01, 2018, 10:55:51 AM
I'm going to be replacing my front tire and trying to pre plan everything before I get started. I can't seem to find the torque spec for the front axle. Closes thing I see in the manual states Front axle end bolts 19 Ft-lb (26 Nm). I've searched on this forum but couldn't find anything. Anybody know?

My 2018 Zero manual says that the front axle end bolts are to be torqued to 54 Nm (40 lb.-ft.) and coated with anti-seize lubricant.

The two front axle pinch bolts are torqued to 22 Nm (16 lb.-ft.) and secured with blue Loctite.

I believe, but am not positive, that the 2016 and 2018 Zeros have the same Showa front suspension.  ???
