After I have made my first experiences with longer distances on my Zero S 2015, I will push it to the extreme.
My 21st trip to Iceland I will do electric.
I will report here in German/English and the basic information is online now:

Have a nice trip, have been to iceland, and would love to do the trip on my MZ ES 150/1, as it’s dead stable, lightweight and nimble.
On my Zero I would worry about ingress of humidity and salts, as the road is close to the mid Atlantic.

For the trip I made a very flexible system of cables and plugs, which I show here.
Suited for type 2, CEE red 32 A, CEE red 16 A, CEE blue and Schuko (for slow and semi-fast charging)

I finally made it to Akureyri and set up my Zero S for the Motor Show this sunday. From 10 am to 6 pm hundrets of people will visit the football hall and have the chance to have a look to the future aside all these nice old/vintage cars and motorbikes.
Greetings,
Uwe

Well done, already Akureyri!
Seeing all this collection of bright colored cables and plugs, people may think "omg, an electric motorcycle seems soooo complicated to charge, i'll stick with the simple gas hose!"

Funny (odd) enough, I think a similar thought when looking "under the hood" of an internal combustion powered vehicle. Too much complexity... all those pipes, wires, hoses, ... ;-)

Yes, and I said to some visitors, that an ICE bike is tanked full in that time I need to store away the cables...
Anyway, I returned home safely on Monday afternoon after 6070 km.
Who has not seen it in the blog already, yesterday I removed the plastic covers of the battery for cleaning:
