sheesh! you'd think that with an $11K - $14K  tag, it would have one! (no centerstand I assume?)
my wifes $8K scooter has both!

yeah...I don't see electric being a big seller here...(I'm in Wi. ,about  120 from Chicago...)
as someone stated... "said he would be interested if the electric motor could roar."  ::)
alot of that attitude around here
but the range seems right on for them!  ;)

thanks for the post!
I talked to a dealer yesterday,(Surprised he could answer very little about it...I think I had more info just reading a few posts here than he knew...)
And they sure aren't trying to push them out the door! They want MSRP for them!
I told him if I could get it on a 50 mile test ride on a single charge,I would be buying one!

General Discussion / Hi! wanna be newbie!

Hello! My name is Rich, and thinking about a 9S ...but looks like it is just out range! After a little reading,I am wondering if a windshield will give me just enough range to get to work!
I have A 47 mile commute (one way)
After seeing Zero's website,I was very excited, then quickly shot down as I realized they lied about actual range... >:(
it's 65mph 1/2 way to work, then 55...
So if I stay off the hwy,I could get by on 45mph...but either way, looks like it is too close
and if the battery loses it's range ability after say...50 - 100 charges...then I'm really screwed!!
I'm SICK of paying $250+ a month just to ride to work!
If the 2012 model doesn't cut it..it shouldn't be too much longer before battery tech. reaches my range!
any suggestions or thoughts?...
