Title: 2 Wheel Steering Recumbent Electric
Post by: skadamo on July 03, 2008, 05:09:48 PM
This bike is inspired by a motorcycle article by Kevin Cameron and a recumbent bicycle.

It has 3 12v batteries, 2 800w Heinzmann hubs, and a Curtis 1204-001 speed controller. It was finished in early 2002. The steering has a 2 axis control - moving the stick left steers the front wheel right - which causes the bike to roll to the left - just like an airplane.

This bike is very cool.  I like 2wd/2ws system but what really looks fun is the steering set up.  I bet that stick is super fun.
