I had a plug and play experience (Update 43 on Experia) at a local Supercharger.  I did have the Tesla ap on my phone, and communication between the phone, charger, and Experia were fine.

Minor glitch afterwards - red warning triangle lit up on dash after starting.  Shut it off and restarted and light went off.  Lit up the next day, but has been off for weeks since.  I think this may have happened because I plugged in before shutting off the ignition.

Get it while you can - with Musk's insanity, you never know.  One good thing about the Tesla diaspora - staff will certainly be able to help other EV companies - ignoring their NDA's!

What Tesla SC  location was that?  Are you using a Magic Dock Supercharger?  Or did you manage to get it to work with a Tesla to CCS adapter (which I don't think is possible with the 43 FW) on a non-Magic Dock?

I dropped in on the service center in south san francisc with a box of donuts for my FW43. I had already gotten the 600 mile service at CalMoto a few weeks before. I wanna say it was about an hour.

But I live about 25 miles away, so if they hadnt gotten to it i would only be put out a box of donuts and an hour round trip.

Im sure they are all about Stefano Mesa right now and supporting Tytler's Cycle, but maybe you can get an appointment there?

I’m afraid that the main problem with the powerpacks in general is this: filling a petroltank can be done by everybody, but it takes some basic knowledge (and some more) to handle a lipo battery in the right way. And if you buy a second hand electric motorcycle the damage can be done by the first owner. It sure helps if an owner did or does some radiocontrolled airplane or helicopter flying as a hobby, you can learn a lot just by looking what an rc-charger does, and with which values it works  .

Honestly, with the quality of the video production and the way you present I would never have thought you'd only been doing this a few months and had 30 odd subscribers. Hopefully that number goes up steadily, with the effort you put in you deserve it and more people should see it. I'm glad you're going through the effort to get it road legal too so it can really be enjoyed.

Thanks again, that's really motivating RE the videos. A road legal EV conversion is something i'd been wanting to do for years and finally decided to try it since the cost of suitable batteries is now workable.

Usually the mention of cafe racer alone puts me off but that's because most of them are very poorly done, but your quality of work and the thought and effort put into it is very impressive and far beyond what I was expecting. I've subscribed because I'm really interested in seeing the rest of your work and this thing completed.

I need to change the drive chain, and I am wondering about the specs. This is for a Ribelle and an SS9 (but they both use the same chain as far as I know).

It is a Regina 525 o-ring chain, but how many links ?
