Anyone ride the Zero S in the rain and can share their experience?

Great. Very wet summer here No issues at all even through deeper water that cOmes up to footpegs. Did not stop thOugh in the deeper part So not sure if controller and lower part of battery is watertight if you fully submerge it.

Once on my DS. It was fine; knobbies had surprising traction in the wet. Since I was without raingear, though, a windshield to duck behind might have been nice :)

Works fine. Rain and hail.
I wouldn't recommend riding through more than a few inches of water, though, as the bottom-mounted charger is rated for splash immunity but not immersion.

I try to never ride in the rain cause I like to keep my bikes sparkling clean, and once you get dirt all up in the bike, it takes a long time to get it clean again, plus I don't have rain gear, plus the road is more slippery. I don't ride until the streets have dried up after a rain for the same reason. The car is so much easier to wash than a bike so I take the car when rain is forecast. Riding on dry pavement is risky enough anyway.

not going into the rain to avoid washing the Zero - takes 5 minutes. by far the fastest bike to wash I ever had. yet another plus.

I've ridden a couple of times in the rain (unplanned) and had no problems. I usually ride the Vectrix when it's raining since the motor and batteries are enclosed.

I ride my 2011 every day to the train station all year round in the NYC area. Haven't had any rain related issues whatsoever.
