General Discussion / Electricross version 2.fx
« on: August 20, 2015, 07:56:09 PM »
I finally found a frame worth of chopping up for my next project. I'm pretty excited to say the least!

So exactly as the title says I want to make a Electricross, a little differently....

The goal:   Make a modern Electricross pit bike using a fx single brick with the complete fx power plant. Stuff it all into a raised and lengthened old 110 platform creating the ultimate pit bike I will probably try to street legal.

Should have the frame here in the next week and I'll start uploading pictures for a "build log" everyone can fallow along.

I'm quite happy about this, for now I will restore and ride it. Eventually I will talk my friend into welding me a frame to hold something slightly faster

Ted you were very right

Here are a few pics for reference for size

General Discussion / I guess I'm new

Been around electric bikes since the prototypes of zero when they were less than 25 employees... Love em won't ever go back to a gas bike

But I'm Drew from Santa cruz ca.  And I love this forum, lots of very knowledgable people look forward to learning a lot

Met a few on here some don't even know.   (Terry) before I even knew who you were I weelied away from Ya coming down brancifore right by the lane slide out
Sorry I'm a sucker for trying to race other electric cara bikes anythings hahaha

I've got a few Zeros
Started with the originals
2008s to the 10s

Pictures because eveyone loves pictures
Here is the original knobby shop bike

Played around with the 11s for a long time I have a soft spot in my heart for them, in the proscess of trying to do the 11/12 x frame to fx conversion if my go cart doesn't seal the motor and controller

In the middle helped my sisters boyfriend and brother paint an electric car

Recently I stepped it up bought a 13 Fx   Or 2.   ???    And I thought they were fast, amazing, quiet. The power delivery was amazing. Then a little bird told me I could go faster, well more so  quicker. So now I have a FX with a size six and (sds, 757, s ,sr motor) whatever you would prefer to call it... So my "the FX is quick" turned into "oh damn the slow bike" but I set one up for street one dirt so I could get they different directions
I have a fascination with speed as probably most motorcycle people do; so it didn't take me much convincing to spend the extra thousands to make it faster.

Garage looks dirty as shit  >:( dammit

Thanks for whoever pays for this forum, it's like a free education for me!

Tedillard's motor post got me :o. Reading.... And reading

« on: November 15, 2014, 03:27:19 AM »
First test ride of a FX with sds motor (street S/SR) size 6 controller this is before I changed the front suspension, when it was hair ball with that sketchy front ds tire
Since has been upgraded and more pictures and videos to come

Still has the Eco and sport buttons LOL (has since been changed to "faster than fx and "O $h!t" switch)
