2 years ago on my 12.5 DS at night waiting for a stoplight.
A BMW gs 1200 stopping next to me, revving the engine. Ofcourse my DS looks small compared to that piece of german engineering and gs in EU do not greet other brands, accept other gs riders.
At the green go, I pinned the go handle and somewhere behind me I hear ICE-man really working the bimmer hard. At 120 kp/h I thought it was enough and he did everthing he could to pass me by with the greatest possible noise/speed. haha!

Ah, sorry. I think I misunderstood.

I scrolled through a few menus as well and didn't see grip warmers listed.

I'm sure its there, I just didn't spend time looking for it.  I feel like there are going to be gremlins in the new tech on the bike.

Did someone compare the DSR to the NC750X performance wise?  I'm sure its no comparison.  I think a DS would run off and leave the NC750X as well.

I did own and sold a 2015 DS and now have NC750 X DCT.  What would you like to know?

I think hesitation is a good thing. It means that the brain works properly. I would certainly demo it before purchase. Good luck!

In the Netherlands I would reccommend Motoport Amsterdam as a good dealer. On my 2015 DS I had the onboard charger knockin' on heavens door, and they fixed it in within 2 days at no costs. Zero HQ nearby probably helps a lot.

Michelin Anakee 3. Awesome tyre OEM size on my DS. Warm up fast, last 30000 km"s and good confidence.

Often, people get what they deserve.

Jarett, don't ride a bike if your brain cannot control your right wrist.

I know something about BMW quality as well..
Altough it was a car.  Bought an ex-demo car, so allmost brand new (some 2000 km's on it)
Terrible car. BMW never fixed the gearbox, among other serious things, during warranty.
First and last bimmer for me. I'll never buy overrated crap from them again.

P. S  I thinks BMW's old skool stuff is/looks great, but I have no experience regarding that..

Like I said before on this thread,  I really doubt this story.
A newbie posting an electrifying story, and others jumping his (fossil?) gun...

DS got a slightly more upright position wich gives you a better overview. S gives you a little more range than a DS because you are in a more aerodynamic position. I did not like the knobbie tyres on DS and swapped them out for road oriented type. Beware that DS is not a real off road bike. Make sure your needed range or chargingoptions are not a guess.

New2elec:  There is a 2016 DSR for sale near me for 9.900
But with 14.000 miles on it. How much does yours have (considering they sell for 8 or 9k as you mentioned) Also considering an almost new fxs 2018 for 10.450.
Fxs range is sufficient for me... Is 14.000 miles high mileage? I don't know the charging history of the dsr. It does not have a chargetank..

Yeah. Thinking the same way. I can handle a long term storage charge myself.  Thanks. I tought that I was overlooking something.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / FXS 2018/2019?
« on: October 24, 2018, 03:07:55 AM »
Hi guys,
Seeing the 2019 line-up, I wonder if there is a difference between the fxs '18 and '19, besides the color or some things in the app. As far as i can tell, no hardware/range changes?
Reason for asking is that i'm planning coming back to Zero after selling my 2015 DS (big mistake!)  There is a very low mileage 2018 fxs for sale near me, so... But if the 2019 is 'better' somehow (battery chemistry?) i might buy that one... Anybody?

Are you guys aware that this story *may* be FUD?
As you all may know there are some severe powers lately against anything
involving wheels and electricity. Take a look at how Tesla is being covered by trolls and mainstreet media taking over a lot of that crap.

Well, a lot of americans who are living in the past, tend to think that 'loud pipes saves lives'.
At least, those loud pipes took the lives of some 4500 US soldiers in the latest Iraq war.
They where just there to serv Big Oil needs.
