Hello everyone I am new to the forum I came here to learn about the energicas and have recently purchased a 22 ss9+ the question I have Is when I activate the bike to get the green go arrow I am getting a high frequency whine from the motor area where before there was silence until the throttle was activated.  So my question is if anyone is close to their bike can you please  activate the green arrow and report back if you experience silence or a slight whine sound.  i would really appreciate it i have spent all day wondering if something is wrong with my new motorcycle.
Thank you

While I hear no such noise on my SS9-, I assume you're hearing noise from the inverter.  If the bike is running fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

Thank you for the reply .  I have a racing background and tend to be really in tune with what my bike is doing the bike only has 780 miles on it and it did not do this prior to yesterdays ride. that said its electricity and not gas or nitro methane, I have a lot to learn>>

My guess is the ride yesterday is causing things to vibrate a little differently. I assume the noise you're hearing is really coming from the tank area. It's easy to look inside by just removing a few screws and then you will probably find the source of the noise (inverter) and perhaps even a way to not hear it any more.

But I would think nothing of it, if no codes on the display and bike runs the same as always.

i did pull the covers as you mentioned the noise seems to be coming from lower closer to the motor area the noise is a very high frequency making it harder to pinpoint i was wishing for a stethoscope I wonder if the liquid cooling has an electric coolant pump

If you need a stethoscope, head for your local auto parts and assessory store. They should have an inexpensive "mechanic's stethoscope" in stock. Or if you are really cheap like me, just use a long handle screwdriver and put the handle to your ear with the metal tip on the part that you think is making the noise.

The noise the OP is hearing seems to be the inverter coolant loop doing its job, this is a good thing.

thank you for your post I guess it’s normal the folks at energica never responded to my inquiry so I guess I’ll just ride on.
