Anyone know how to change the clock battery?

Bad design.
You have to buy a new dash unit.
There was a guy on here who tore the dash apart to change it but it will ruin the water proofing.
As a side question does it still show the time left for charging?
My 13 doesn't have a clock but of course my 17 does but as of now it's still working.

Yes, the unofficial manual shows how to do it, but you do wind up taking responsibility for the waterproofing into your own hands as a result.
Honestly I think making the unit last longer is a good idea, and then you can anticipate ordering one later for full replacement when it fails. Swapping the unit because of the cel battery is not resilient design and not environmentally friendly.

So the only real question is how to ensure/restore the seal around the edge when re-assembling. I think if you're out of warranty, you can perform this if you take care to clean the gasket and apply some waterproofing grease to the edges on both faces of the enclosure as you reseal it.
