Title: Shorty Brake Lever
Post by: TfuRdr15 on November 05, 2015, 06:17:48 AM
Does anyone know of an aftermarket shorty front brake lever that will fit a 2015 Zero S? I'm finding the stock one too bulky for my tastes.

Thanks!

Well, you could just saw off the end of your brake lever and file it smooth to make a shorty lever.   ;)  That would probably be easier, cheaper and quicker than trying to locate a shorty brake lever that will fit your Zero and properly operate your master cylinder.   ???

This is what I did - I also cut the hollow ball end off the old tip and JB Welded it to the new 'stump', then ground it down smooth and (mostly) round.  It works great, and looks fine from nearly every angle. :)

I looked everywhere for an adjustable shorty lever with the brake-switch extension for my FX, no luck.  The '15 S uses a different lever type, maybe it's also used by an adventure or dual-sport bike with aftermarket levers available.
