Just in time for the snow storm this evening. But it's here!

Awesome.  Is it brand new?  What year?

Yep, brand new 2016 S 13.0. 12 miles on the odometer. So far, it has carried me down to the other end of the court and back. Then I put it away because the snow was starting.

2014 SR .. day of delivery. I literally uncrated it, set the mirrors, slung a license plate on it, and rode to go meet some friends .. fortunately the snow wasn't exactly sticking.

Enjoy your bike!

That is snow?  I thought it was sheepskin.   ;)

Heh. Where do you live? I snow a regular thing there? Because here, snow is a 3-times-a-year event and everyone loses their #$?@!! minds when flakes start to fall from the sky. It's something in the water supply I think.

I confess, I saw the first snowflake and had this urge to go to the store and buy milk, eggs & bread. I don't know why, really.

Nashville. It's snowed twice this year, this was the second time and we barely got an inch.

Nashville just shuts down during snow, pretty much.

This year, Central Park in NYC has gotten much more snow than the Upper Hudson Valley and many parts of New England. Maybe the ski resorts should all order new Zeros...

The last snow we had in San Diego was December 13, 1967. Don't you feel sorry for me not getting a break from commuting every day on my DSR?

So nice.  I have the 2013 and have had some problems(more than 30 days in shop for different problems).  Eventually Zero shipped bike back from New England to factory in CA and put a 2014 Battery Monolith and new motor in bike.  Hopefully I won't break down again.  Filled out the papers for Lemon LAW for New Hampshire  and started talking with Aaron Cheatham Director of Customer Experience who really got things moving for me.  Lemon Law arbitration board received papers and said I have one document out of order and have to mail both sets of documents back to them and manufacture zero.  Not going to do it because bike is fixed and hell its a lot of paper to deal with.  Lemon Law forms and documents required are a real pain in the ass.  Glad Zero stepped up and fixed bike with newer model parts.

Wish I had ABS and newer suspension like you.

Enjoy.

Will do. I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. I hope they've got your bike sorted out and you're back on the road, trouble free. And that right soon.

So, new owner question: Have you guys worked up cards you can pass out or leave on the bike while you're away? Something that reads:

Of course my numbers are old school, but I do sometimes leave this on the bike when I park in public.

Answers to your questions:
  • Yes, it's all electric. No gas, no gears, no clutch, no oil, no exhaust.
  • 81 miles @ 70mph, 98 miles @ 55mph, 161 miles @ 30 mph
  • $14K
  • 30 seconds. 15 when I plug it in at night, 15 when I unplug it in the morning.

That's funny, I was thinking of doing something like that. I like Doug's card.

I did get a hi viz vest printed with the forum address on it, but I haven't seen any evidence of it attracting people to the forum yet. Perhaps the headline 'All Torque and No Tax' doesn't go down well? Actually, if anyone thinks that tag line is crap, do let me know. The idea was to promote the forum and hopefully get some newcomers. After all, I do ride into London every day and there's an opportunity for literally hundreds of people to read my hi viz message.
