Mugen tells their rider to loose some weight and their electric racer will go faster. ;)

Yes, the article says if he loses 22lbs he can have one. Holy cow!
Also, the author thinks Sarolea can challenge them. I'm looking forward too seeing Sarolea compete, but I don't think they are in the same class as Mugen.

I lost about 9kg last year and would keep going for a prize like this!

The exciting thing about this is wondering why they'd be willing to go through such a huge additional expense for having the fastest TT rider in the world already lose 22 pounds. I'm hopeful that they've got some huge improvements for the bike this year, and their simulations show that if they cut a bit more weight they have a chance to break the Supersport lap record of 128.66 mph.
