Buy Sell Trade / 2014 Zero S For Sale
« on: May 23, 2019, 05:45:56 AM »
Sadly I must sell for something that is more practical to my new location (snow 9 months out of the year).
Best commuter I've ever owned.  16,000 miles.  Lots of little extras on the bike.  Asking $9000 OBO.
Bike is in Utah at the dealership.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / ABS
« on: November 14, 2014, 11:48:00 PM »
Anybody have any experience with anti-lock brakes on a motorcycle?  My last bike had a linked braking system which I liked (even though it probably gave me some lazy brake habits).  Could older Zeros be retrofitted with the ABS from the 2015's?  Would something like this aftermarket traction control braking kit be worthwhile?

General Discussion / Variable regen question
« on: July 25, 2014, 03:25:36 AM »
A general question for the engineers out there.  Is there a technical reason why it would not be possible to remove the rear hydraulic disc brake and tie variable regen to the foot brake?  Would it be possible to link variable regen to the front brake lever and remove the foot brake entirely?

Does anybody have any personal experience with the 25T motor sprocket?  My dealer wants 300 bones to install.  I'd put it in myself but I guess there is some timing/reprogramming that has to happen as well.

I'm curious what max sustained speed would be (without overheating) and how much the range would likely decrease.  Could you run a larger rear tire as well?

Thanks.
