My SR shows 13.1 KWh when fully charged so close to what you are seeing. But when you multiply the Wh/Mi times the total mileage when the battery is showing 0% SOC I get just over 9kWh.

I don't pay much attention to the Wh/Mi display on the Zero app.  It doesn't seem to match up with the display on my speedometer, which seems to correspond much more accurately with the power consumed.  Most of my riding shows a power usage of around 85 watts per mile on my instrument display, but the Zero app shows around 150 watts per mile average usage.  I have never used 150 wpm during any of my rides.   ???  I find that my rides typically result in a 1% drop in SOC for every 1.5 miles of riding.  However, I do avoid riding on the freeway whenever I can, as I prefer to experience my environment, rather to become part of it.  ;)

Compare that to me getting about 1% per mile @ 50mph on my 2013, and thats a ringing endorsement of the later bikes with power tanks.

Richard230 is probably riding more like 35-40 mph  if he's getting 1.5 miles per 1% SOC (~150 miles).

That is pretty close when I am not on the freeway.  You really can't go any faster than the car in front of you and most of the drivers around here are too busy talking on their cell phones and texting to keep track of their speed or notice if anyone is behind them.   ::) 

Yesterday I had to split lanes for miles just to get home on the local freeway due to a car crash and DOT paving work.  It took me 20 minutes of filtering at about 10 to 15 mph.  News reports said that cars and trucks needed 2 hours to go that far during the afternoon commute. The nice thing about the Zero was that it didn't overheat while moving that slow.  It was kind of warm along the coast yesterday and the Harley riders that I passed seemed to be a little hot between the legs.   ;)

I've clocked up 800kms on my new 2015 SR and I'm managing just better than 2km per 1% SOC with mixed riding averaging 70 kph (including a few rocket launches from the lights, cant resist that!)
I'm a 6ft 2in 200lbs chap, so I think that's a pretty good result
