Hi, I just bought a 2022 Esse Esse and could not believe how hard it is to put it on my paddock stand compared to my Zero SR/F that I thought was heavy. Anyway the answer to your problem and mine is the centre lift stand made by tower.de a German firm. Have a look at the you tube video about them using their stand on a Esse Esse.

It's brilliant and although about £400 it is worth its weight in gold. I have just sent them an email to order one. I would have done it directly from their webpage but couldn't as they have not yet listed Energcia as one of the makes they supply lifts to. Their video is only two weeks old.

Regards

Are you using the Zero Next Gen app? The old Zero Motorcycles app cannot pull the firmware data from their servers. You need to use the Next Gen app.

I recently tried to check my firmware with the old app for my '18 FXS, and it was stuck spinning looking for firmware. Then I installed the new app and it worked. The sad part is my firmware version requires a dealer to install it.

Thanks, the new version works fine, sees the bike and all, but:

MBB is version 33, latest is 39.

BMS1 is version 40, latest is 46.

BMS2 is Version 40,  latest is 46.

All three updates require the dealer.

Same stuff with my 2017 Zero DS, except it only has one BMS (no pwr tank).

Anybody here know if any of these updates do anything useful?

Ive talked to him about this suspension a few months ago.
VERY interested in putting this on the Ribelle and seeing how it runs on the track here.
If my EGO was not tricked out already with the olins in the back Id like to try the lowering kit on that but for the price I paid for those shocks, they gonna have to stay for a bit :D

Watching the have nots complain about the money he has is rather entertaining.  Why should he give it to charity?  Most of them are corrupt anyways.  Bill Gates doing good in the world?  ROFL,  that's another good one!!  Ask them in Africa how good he did them.

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly those with less money, are so quick to tell those with more money how to spend it, how to use it, etc etc. yet very seldom do you see THEM leading by example.  Then again the have nots have always been great at spending other peoples money.

stevenh - never really was into most of his products to begin with TBH.  If you watch them closely over the years as they developed and eventually came out, many of them, the power wall comes to mind, the specs quietly slid, sometimes a LOT from promised, to delivery.  If he is insane or not, well, doesn't really matter if he makes something you need, OR want now does it?  Speaking of, didn't he promise us some sort of solar shingles for our homes?  Those kind of quietly went away too didn't they?

Richard, that IS a good question, what is he thinking of on that move?  Perhaps deals were made and someone else is going to take them over, or he's just putting new people in there.  He just let people go, he didn't dissolve the division.  Maybe he's restructuring it under another branch or something.  With all the billions he has put into it, I can't see him really just abandoning it.  Something is up we are not privvy to yet.  Id like to hear from him, his reasoning before I blindly pass judgement on him for that move.

Most the kids today couldn't give a shit less about morals, ethics, stuff like that, it's blind obedience to their SJW bs.  They do what they are told, and most couldn't have an original thought to save their souls, god forbid one be unique and not conform to what's being said at the cool kids table!!  They'll claim they hate this or that, will buy this, won't buy that, but when asked why, don't have a clue.  Look at the morons protesting at all the colleges as a prime example of the Idocracy at work.  At first they loved him, then they hated him after he told the govt to take a flying leap at their censorship and were giving their next target to hate for the week.

At the end of the day, the world revolves around money, and more and more people are just coin operated.  Elon figured out a way to collect the coins, so good for him.  Note that NOBODY is being forced to buy any of his products, you are GIVING him his money,  he is not stealing it at the threat of imprisonment or violence, like the government does via taxes.  Don't be angry at him for being rich, be mad at the people who made him rich,  that would be YOU and your peers.

Now would be the perfect time to open your own charging network, put your money to work and make YOUR millions, that YOU can then donate to charity as you want him to do.  If ford / gm etc is SO worried about their customers, then why don't THEY invest in CCS stations all over? ??????? instead of trying to piggy back off Elon's hard work and more specifically HIS MONEY?  Hell, 90 percent of GM's money is government bailouts anyways.

The wealth if ignorance is astounding sometimes.

Did they tell you on what model your custom cover was based ? I have the same wet issue on my SS9 when I can't park it in the sun after a long downpour and I'd be curious to know how well the cover worked for you.

Smart business move, I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I bet Tim Cook is about to fire everyone who works on iOS, too. Just think of how much money that would save!

What I would like to know is why did he get rid of the entire SuperCharger division?  Was it just to save money, did he have an axe to grind over some people in the division, or did it just feel good to screw over his employees and potentially the people that need to use the system in the future - like owners of Ford EVs? The guy is apparently really smart, but scary as a businessman and I sure wouldn't want to work for him.

But then I never understood from a financial point of view, why he bought Twitter and then pretty much destroyed it, so that it is now only worth a fraction of the price that he bought it for and only has a fraction of the former number of people using it. (Plus, calling it "X" makes it very awkward for anyone quoting a post from it.)

He is nuts.  Sorry Specter.  That's why I refuse to purchase anything he makes, and would never work in any of his ventures (unless my life depended on it :) ).

No, but thanks, I didn't even know there was another version. I will soon download it and try again and see what happens.

I am using the old Zero app, too. My bike is running great and still charges to 100% and the app works fine for checking the health of the battery and for setting up the user performance system, so I don't think I will mess with anything.  When my 2014S failed to charge to 100% and kept getting worse as time wore on, the solution to the problem was to replace the OBC. After doing that, everything went back to normal.
Yeah, I know. But I can charge my bike without even using the OBC and have the same issue--unlike before.

I have not yet really looked into it much. But I thought I would start by making sure I had the latest updates, but then . . .
