Title: Try this with an ICE bike...
Post by: 1sweet66 on March 26, 2012, 06:25:28 AM
Swap an engine in your living room! Note that these pics were *after* the swap. No worry of oil, fuel, or anything dripping off the bike. My wife and I absolutely love riding electric!

I should add that the swap wasn't because anything broke, the AGNI motor was making an unusual sound and Zero just sent me another motor to switch out under warranty.

Many will likely ask WHY would you do this?

Well, it was snowy outside and the two car garage was full. We have a '66 project truck we're building and it's in bare metal (so can't just roll it out into winter weather) and our dog recently had 10 puppies. We had to setup a kennel in the garage to keep all the little ones warm, leaving no room to work on the bikes where they normally stay.   ;D

Yet another perk of having electric, work on 'em wherever.

That is a kick, 1sweet66.  Of course it helps if you have a nice clean bike, like you do.

So have you tested out your Zero riding around the house too?   ;D

Besides all the cool bike stuff, it's nice to see someone make that kind of effort for their dogs.  :)

Nice bikes and kennel!

I bet the DS bikes are fun in the snow.

Speaking of how easy it is to work on electric motorcycles, compared with the latest IC motorcycles, check out this article:
