I bought a high power charger off eBay and just need to solder the adapter to plug into the battery. Anybody have a schematic and standard clip name/part # so I can complete my project? 142 voyeurs and no one knows what the connector type is... it looks like this.
-
An Anderson SBS 75x: http://www.andersonpower.com/us/en/products/sbs/sbs-75x.aspx
-
Thanks - impressed that that connector can handle 110 AMPS!!!!

I'm looking for the same connector, where's the best place to buy it in Canada , does it have to be brown? Or will black fit
-
The black connector can handle voltage up to 80V the brown up to 96V.
The model is SBS75XBRN. In addition to the housing you have to buy the connector pins 1339g2-bk and the auxilay pins PM16P12S30 and the socket PM16S12S32.
You can buy it from http://www.mouser.com (http://www.mouser.com).

The only thing I dont understand is the "poka yoke", because it looks a bit different than in the drawing.

I added 2 attachments with a picture of the poka yoke of the original Zero connector and the connector from the drawing.

Thanks All - just order my parts for two chargers...
Here are the spec sheets for Anderson SBS 75X parts and assembly http://www.andersonpower.com/_global-assets/downloads/pdf/ds-sbs.pdf (http://www.andersonpower.com/_global-assets/downloads/pdf/ds-sbs.pdf)

I've also ordered the Anderson connector from mouser but the connector is on back order until October !

Actually the connectors are just color coded for identification to prevent cross connection when both voltages are present., the black and brown are the same except they have different tags on the sides of their housing, you can make black work by grinding off the tags that restrict attachment. I dont believe that the y adapter is rated at more than 50 amps , which is the maximum charge amperage for a set of power paks. fyi the small terminals can be difficult to situate in the housing!

Which new charger did you buy?

I've bought two of the lambda fps 1000 power supplies, and a j1772 adapter with control board, I copied someone's design but made it a little simpler
