Tech Help / Throttle lag

Im running a sevcon gen 4 size 6 with a zero sr motor ,on a racing kart, significant throttle lag, and unable to program through the phone app. I have changed the throttle -did not help,when throttle is turned off quick , it wants to back up aliitle, is this the controller or MBB?

I ordered the USB to CAN adapter, the seller noted that an additional serial to OBD adapter is required?

Anyone know where I can get a cable and software for 2014, I've got a Hollywood dongle ,will a handheld programmer work I need to change torque curve and gear ratios for staters
