Dealer sale: sub $16k price for standard SRF and SRS
« on: August 26, 2020, 06:04:06 AM »

Well it's that time of year again when WOW Motorcycles here in GA puts the best prices on Zero Motorcycles.
At these prices even getting them shipped is a great deal.  These will go fast.
One side note:  In the past the dealer had already taken the tax credit for the bikes themselves so be sure to ask.
This post is to help forum members who may be on the fence when it comes to a purchase.  I get nothing from the sale.

Ummm ok.

Any Zero bike that is on any dealer floor can be used for a demo.
Zero policy is to "put butts on bikes" and they will sale.

If someone wants a virgin bike they can pay $22k for it.  :)

Do you have a recommendation of the sales representative to ask for?

I spent a lot of time last night going through the used showroom.  Check out the BMW cruiser 1998 or so with less than 5000 miles.  Found what appears to be a package deal on the FX3.6, spare battery, and charger.  It turns out from the sales person I spoke with there are only "deals" on the two linked above and perhaps similar bikes of the same models.  Strictly list price, bike battery and charger.

They do ship bikes, they come with a 45 day temp plate and no sales tax, you pay in your state.  $359 some sort of document fee and $56 title resignment fee.

As usual the Zero person is making an attempt to talk me out of the hot swappable, 40 some pounds of weight/range choice.

No, I don't know any of the sales men.

For what it's worth WOW Motorcycles moves a lot of bikes (mostly used gas bikes of course) through there each year.  So setting up shipping is nothing for them.
I have to say I didn't see the SRS listed on their web page so it may be gone already.

Fran K if you want a FXS there may be better deals out there but these were the lowest priced Gen 3 bikes I've seen listed.

As I went to confirm the two bikes at WOW had sold, which they had, I saw this used offering in MD.
Never say I'm not generous to the members here.  :)
