SR/F. But without batch numbers it's not very helpful ...
One of those belts was a brand new one ordered only last year. I think the real problem was the dealer overtightening the belts both times.

Maybe it is luck (or lack thereof)*, both my last two belts lasted just 7k miles on ordinary roads at ordinary trundling speeds.

16.5k miles since 2021. It's had a lot of warranty work! Brake discs twice, MBB, battery, both charging units, dashboard. And it's on its third belt!

It feels quite sorted now though. The new battery range is especially impressive (125 miles), although it's nerfed my charging rate by 50%. Hoping to get another 35k miles out of it before I've had my money's worth.

That was the total time from taking the bike in to getting it returned, so it included scheduling in the swap (which is quite a big job). The actual battery was almost immediately sourced - however it took several more weeks to get ahold of some of the wiring harness gubbins that are associated with the new pack. See how long it takes to get a pack replaced on any other EV ... I think they did reasonably well myself!

I wasn't too bothered at the time as I had another bike to use.

I believe there's now an extended warranty to 5 years for Energicas as well which puts it on a par with Zero. I admit that was actually a critical factor in thinking "no" when I had the opportunity a couple of years ago before they had the 5 year warranty.

btw my experience with Zero and batteries has been good - exhibited magic charging after 2 years, took it to dealer, pulled the logs, agreed, battery replaced within 3 months no questions asked. And the new battery is excellent - I easily get 125 miles out of it.

Ribelle RS+. Weight is approx the same as the SS9. Felt *much* heavier than my SR/F+Charge tank - mostly because the weight is much higher up. Although I did find that made it handle a little better than the Zero... the SR/F feels very stable with its low COG but this of course has the side effect of needing to lean it far further to get it to turn at the same rate.

No news, but just saying, my bike's been updated with all the latest FW and it hasn't been sorted yet. I think we may need to pressure Zero into doing something about this. It has rendered the charge tank pretty useless.

From my test ride - weight & height, price, chain (noise and grime), high likelihood of losing license  ;D count against it. Not being an owner though I couldn't comment on anything else.

The man's a complete buffoon (check out his actual business history), however, his main talent is being in the news, and being in the news is what makes Tesla a household name.

My dealer specifically mentioned the Gen13 14.4kWH packs. They said that essentially, every single one of them eventually failed, so they've just got on and quietly replaced every one of them with 15.6kWH packs.

The cast-iron test if you've got a bad battery is magic charging. If your SOC goes up by more than 10% over a couple of hours, your battery is buggered. The new 15.6+ batteries do not exhibit this issue. Pretty much all of the 14.4 batteries in the Gen 3 bikes eventually exhibit the problem. Zero dealers here in the UK have just been quietly replacing every single one of them, no questions asked. My dealer says every single bike they sold eventually had the issue.

The depreciation on all Zeros in the UK is absolutely savage and you just have to accept that economy is not the reason you're buying one, it's because they're cool and different and a good ride.

My SR/F is ~4 years old now, has done 16k miles, cost me ~£20k, and is now worth just £8k in part ex. When the battery warranty runs out it will further plummet in value.

If you want economy you have to use them, a lot, and keep them a long time.

Never ceases to amaze me how the US can somehow be at the same time draconianly authoritarian (ok let's just say fascist) with rules and regulations and petty enforcement backed with lethal outcomes and somehow liberterian to the point of letting all this sort of thing repeatedly happen in the first place! A country of dichotomy and paradox.

That's about the price they should be charging before they start flash sales and discount incentives...

Yep, it's broken, get it booked in ASAP.
