I would pay $100 for it.. I could throw it on the kids go kart.
But Its not worth more than that to me.

Well, now, then I guess you don't want it.  (It always baffles me when some guys say that kind of thing.  Is that your way of trying to negotiate?  Or is it just a flat-out insult?)  At any rate, I'd been holding on to it to put it in a boat (it's original intended purpose, designed by John Fiorenza) or an ultralight, high-speed motorcycle, but it'd be worth that to me just to keep it and put on my shelf in a glass case.    :P

Its an offer where thats my only offer. Not an insult.

You can take it as you wish. Some people take it as an insult because they think whatever they're selling is gold. Others counter offer or sell it for that.

as for the rest of your comment, I wouldnt call any motorcycle with it high speed. It would work for a bike, ultralight or boat, but it really will just have the same output as a 6.5hp briggs ICE. sure, the electric motor has all the power of the engine running at peak RPM from zero RPM, but its still a small motor for a boat or bike.

Yeah, for the record, if you want to discuss the pros and cons of the original ETEK motor, the place to do it is on whatever thread you wish to start yourself.  It's bad form, in my humble opinion, to do it on another member's "For Sale" post, unless you're interested in buying it and need questions answered. 

Otherwise, you're just trolling the thread. 

I'm happy to answer any honest questions by any legitimately interested buyers.  I will say, when I say "high speed ultralight motorcycle", I'm obviously not claiming the motor would be good for a 150mph+ superbike.  It does work for a near-100mph 210lb bike. I can say this, because I've used it briefly in a Yamaha 350 frame with a tiny lipo pack, and it could hold it's own against any gas 125cc track bike.  I switched to the (twice the weight) ME1003 because it made it so I could pull wheelies.   ::)

I'm trying to remember the exact weight, but I think it was just over 200lbs - I'm going to say 215 or so.

Aw, the mighty Etek. It was the first motor used on Zero motorcycles. I pushed mine so hard I bought a 2nd one just in case. But even flogging the 1st one towing a 450 lb battery trailer for a race didn't phase it at all. Still have both the first one and the new spare. The new one has only been spun by the output voltage of a single 65 watt solar panel, no battery.

The above was 13 years ago, a good 2 years before Zero motorcycles.
