I ended up getting a electronic relay via Amazon & swapped the two pins opposite of each other on the bike plug (+ & -???) so this "conventional" relay will work on a Zero.

Zero re-oriented the plug pin arrangement on 2018+ models to match off the shelf relay orientation so owners of new bikes don't have to swap:

There are two standard automotive blinker relays. Originally I also bought the wrong one (CF13), and used little jumper wires to swap the polarity. Then I got the correct one (CF14)
that works on Zero with correct polarity.
