Hi! I find the rear brake actuator pedal on my '16 Zero FX to be at the wrong angle, given how my foot sits on the peg. I have to raise my toes a lot to get there. I'd love to point it downward an inch or so. I have tried adjusting the connection to the cylinder at the clevis, but the return spring is so strong that the pedal doesn't seem to actually move any, though it takes more push before the pads contact. Does anybody know how to change the brake pedal orientation? What about moving the toe actuator piece downward?

Best mode is using a left hand handle bar brake, instead of the foot brake.
Very convenient.

I'd try adjusting it again. I loosen the actuator shaft locknut above the clevis, then grip the shaft firmly with long heavy-duty needle-nose pliers and rotate the pliers / shaft back toward the rear of the bike to lower the pedal foot, repeating as needed. The '14-'16 FX's all use the same return spring, and my pedal adjusts real easy over a fairly large range.

I also found the rear brake to be high on my 2016 FXS. I didn't have any trouble adjusting it.

Okay, thank you, I'll try again!

I've added this to the unofficial manual here:

I'll extract a separate article about the brake pedal soon, for now it's a shortcut:

My problem is that I have a twisted ankle, so I cannot move my foot left enough to reach the brake pedal.
Has anyone found a brake pedal lever extension that fits on a DSR brake pedal? There are a lot sold for BMWs, but I don't know which will fit.

Left hand brake is very convenient, I have the one from tacticalmindz.com on my 14SR.
Also handy when parking on hills, either hand can keep the bike from rolling as you disembark from either side.

i see that the tacticalmidz sell double banjo bolts. can you put the right hand brake and the rear break on the same banjo and then make a left handed front brake?
