Title: Zero "Going Electric" pamphlet
Post by: Richard230 on June 29, 2012, 03:56:18 AM
Zero continues to promote their products.  Here is a link to a free 20-page PDF file pamphlet where they offer an overview of their models and explain various advantages of riding electric motorcycles and cover some of the basic technology as it applies to their vehicles:  http://media.zeromotorcycles.com/resources/Zero_Motorcycles_Going_Electric_low_res.pdf (http://media.zeromotorcycles.com/resources/Zero_Motorcycles_Going_Electric_low_res.pdf)

I got around to reading the entire pamphlet last night (not just looking at the pictures) and there is a lot more interesting information here than I had anticipated from a document like this. As near as I can tell there is little BS here and much of the information provided would appear to be actually useful to a Zero owner, or anyone planning to purchase a Zero or any other electric motorcycle for that matter.  It also contains answers to some of the questions kicked around this forum now and again.  I recommend checking it out - and reading the text, besides looking at the photos of the Zeros in motion.

Which brings up another point. How come there are Brammo girls, but no "Zero girls"?  Is the budget going into making the bike instead of paying for nice looking models wearing swim suits?   ;)

Exactly that was my first thought when I read Richards post.

And offthegrid was very daring, because if I remember his first photos, he has a really cutie girlfrind. And a photo like this might cause trouble :D

Hah, their test route for highway range is exactly my daily commute route :) The test results match my observations; when riding 70 mph I get about 40% of UDDS range.
