Thanks for the replies, the closest dealer to me wasn't helpful at all so I'll check another dealer about 50 miles from me

Haven't pulled the trigger yet and never made it out to the other dealer. Work's been crazy busy (usually the opposite this time of year but not this year) - I'm still getting one but most likely after the new year now

I don't know what your travel parameters or profile is but you obviously ride a lot and unless those are all commuting miles, perhaps you should consider keeping your ICE bike for a while. There may be times when you want to do a road trip that exceeds the comfortable range of the EV.

In any case while now is a good time to buy a motorcycle, the spring would be a better time to sell. Having said all that I think Cycle Trader is good marketplace, and there may be a Used Bike dealer that would let you sell on consignment. I don't think I would try and sell anything with any substantial value on Craigslist. Too risky and time consuming.

That depends on where. I am now in Tucson, AZ with my Zero DS ZF 6.5 and these 70F days in  December  are  probably the very peak of the motorcycle season here. Spring and summer could be too hot for riding.

This is perfect riding weather here. That's why I am here!

I took the bike on a ramp on my trailer hitch on my RV.  These E-bikes can safely go up the ramp on their own power with me walking it up, because of he excellent low end throttle response without a need for a clutch.

It's possible that Zero may again offer specially priced and equipped limited editions in the early part of the year in order to move left over inventory like they did in February with the DSR Limited Edition.  The pricing along with the added options made this a really good deal and would be worth waiting for IMO.

Just an update - I did sell my Goldwing.  I got $3500 for it, which I think is fair considering the miles, age and a few minor issues.
Certainly, there was pain involved, with the Cycle Trader listing generating a large number of scam offers.  But it sold.  :-D
Now on to the planning for the purchase this spring!

Thanks and keep us posted on your progress. Too bad you didn't get more out of your Gold Wing.
