Hello,
I have replaced all the light bulbs on my SR but the turn signals with LED.
I have replaced already the flasher with the one that handle LED, but I am not able to find the replacement that fit in the turn signal. I searched for 1156 but I couldn't find the right length.
Any suggestions?

I picked up some of these, but never got them working. I'm assuming it's a flasher issue, but not positive.

If i remember right, they didn't light at all. My current setup includes new LED rear signals (housings with integrated LED bulbs) combined with the stock front housing/bulbs. It blinks fast, but works. When I switched the above LED bulbs into the front housings, I would get nothing (no blinking front or rear). I tried a new LED-compatible flasher, but it didn't help so I gave up and left the stock front bulbs in place.

Led have polarity, while bulbs do not. It is important to get it right otherwise it is an "open", they are diodes.

If i remember right, they didn't light at all.
That should be easy to test. Just connect one to any battery 9-12v, and if it doesn't light up, try switching the polarity. Chinese unnamed brands often get this wrong.

Its blinking fast because there is insufficient load on the flasher unit, you'll need to put a fairly hefty ballast resistor in series with the LED indicator unit.
I had to do this on my old Zero S. Frankly LED flashers are not worth it, with the ballast resistor they use as much power as incandescents, in the end I switched back to normal bulb indicators.

Uh, no. An "LED flasher" isn't a flasher with built-in load resistors. It's a smarter flasher which will maintain its flashing speed with a lighter load. You will save power with LED turn signals and a proper flasher. How much power you'll save is another question...it really doesn't amount to much.

Hey, if it's not the extending the range much, it does give the bike a more modern look right? And that last 30cm will get you riding into the garage instead of pushing 8)

That's pretty much my take on LED turn signals. It's not about range extension (it isn't really worth talking about), it's about a better look, sharper operation (LEDs don't "bloom" on and "fade" off like incandescent light bulbs, they snap on and off), and just generally customizing your bike to be unique. Longer bulb life is also a good thing, and what's wrong with saving a watt-hour or two?

Finally solved my issue today. When I first read these posts, I did not have success switching the +/- wires leading to each signal. However, after re-reading some other posts, I tried switching the +/- wires leading into the relay. It worked! I'm now LED front and back. The $1 bulbs that I linked above are working fine, and fit within the stock housings.
