I have a 2010 DS that I still use as a daily commuter. It has over 12,000 miles on it and I can say that it has the same range and power that it did the day I brought it home in Sept. of 2011.

I have gotten over 35 miles in the city with range to spare. 22 miles combined (city/hwy) seems about right.

Don't discount these old Zeroes as commuters, they are still perfect for that.

"Maximum capacity" is purely a marketing term.

2012 ZF6:
4.2 volts per cell x 18 cells in series x 80 Ah = 6048 Wh "maximum capacity"
3.7 volts per cell x 18 cells in series x 80 Ah = 5328 Wh "nominal capacity"

2013/14 ZF5.7:
4.2 volts per cell x 28 cells in series x 49 Ah = 5762 Wh "maximum capacity"
3.7 volts per cell x 28 cells in series x 49 Ah = 5076 Wh "nominal capacity"
