Meet at Big Basin Cafe by 10 AM for the ride, or an hour later at Rumble Fish for lunch.

Big Basin Cafe opens at 6:30 AM, so if you come from a distance, come early and you will have literally hours to charge if you need it.  I should be there by 8, and I'll bring my 4-bike J-plug splitter rig.

After lunch, Aaron has promised us a factory tour!  (He says it may be quiet.)  Electric Terry may join (he's been boycotting Alice's, it turns out.)

Route suggestions encouraged, here's what I've got: https://goo.gl/maps/qecc51TEUap

Some discussion also here, for those who F'book: https://www.facebook.com/events/119009498641175/

Weather dependent if I can safely head out at midnight before, it works out to 4hrs travel and 5hrs charge time (at 4.7kW) to get to Big Basin Cafe.

You've got the 1 brick v2 supercharger, right?  One of the first : - )   Mine should ship Monday.

Yep, running a one-brick SCv2 setup. Maybe take a look at and my own or also the . It's maybe a two fizzy lemonade kind of job, less if your bike under-cowl area is easy to access.

We'll have to get y'all quick-charging types of EV bike riders out here this summer to Tahoe and do some kind of ride. I've got thoughts to do a ride beyond that to the desert but the charging situation gets a little sparse way up in the hills of the desert.

Thanks.  I guess this should go in a quickcharger v2 topic...

I like the idea.

But people with 13 KWH 2016 DSRs need to be gentle with us 11.4 KWH 2014 SR owners.  I might be able to charge fast again soon, but that doesn't mean I can go 100 miles on a charge or follow you through a deep muddy mud ditch.  Keep the routes paved, and not too far from sources of food and beverage.

BTW, if you come to the Quail (May) or Laguna Seca (June), I'll show you the route that's about my limit, Brian can tell you about it.  It's scary in a car but lots of fun on a motorcycle, around the back of Nicene Marks state park.  Sneaking up on bicyclists is fun.  And the deer hardly spook.  They look up like "you're not so scary"

I've been informed the date has changed. I renamed the topic accordingly.

From the facebook post for this ride:

"APR 29
Ride Hwy 9 to Scotts Valley, lunch at Rumble Fish, and Zero factory tour
Public · Hosted by "@togo
"*note date change!*..."

Which I completely missed until @anton mentioned it. Also I don't do book face, but I can update topic titles and stuff as needed just let me know.

Sorry to cross-post, will there be a normal 110V plug at Zero? I've no other options with my charger (can charge at 220 if someone has an 110-220 plug adapter).

I'm sorry I didn't respond in time for the ride, I just saw your question.  Glad you made it, and cool to see your ZEV, and hear your experiences with it.  It's the first actual ZEV scooter I've seen- I was wondering if they were mythical unicorns : - )

Let's do it! PM me for BBQ logistics. E.g. so you have a company BBQ pit?

Should we aim for zero HQ biannually? Quarterly?
