Title: What is this hole for?
Post by: There707 on June 26, 2014, 08:59:59 AM
I have owned my 2014 Zero DS for a month now. I know there was something covering the hole to the lower righ of the instrument console but I lost it on the 2nd or 3rd ride. So what is this hole for?

Thinks its for 12V accessory socket. Cigarette ligter socket. Can buy from zero or Harley Davidson. There's a forum post about it.

In case it helps, the 12V Accessory Socket Kit for the 2014 Zero DS has the part number 10-07504.  If you don't have any other electrical accessories like the heated seat or grips, then it's a pretty easy install.

If you are just looking for the replacement rubber plug, SDS ACCESSORY OUTLET COVER, its part number is 20-06938.
