Just bought mine today!  No deals whatsoever, $15,995 for the SR, fees for delivery and no breaks on accessories, even charged $150 to install power trunk. They said Zero couldn't install it at the factory when they are making my bike.  That's a bunch of bull.

I got a break on the setup. $450 for shipping from Santa Cruz to the Bay Area was ridiculous though.

That's my dealer, too. Sales seems a bit like that, but I like the service department better than SF Moto's - they seem much easier to deal with and more interested in Zeros.

They gave me no deal on a demo in the rainy fall.

San Jose Zero/BMW is not for me either.

I got my SR at Contra Costa Powersports in December of 2014 and it may have been among the first sold in the country. It was certainly the first one (and i think the first Zero) that they sold. I paid MSRP. i can't remember if there were add-ons but I think there was something. I was willing to pay though. I know that motorcycle shops don't make a huge margin on bikes and I liked getting one of the first '15s so I didn't try to haggle much - which is not like me. It just seemed like a special bike and worth it. However when I bought my Honda they gave me a very good deal as well as $500 more than anyone else would give me on my trade-in bike so overall they treated me well. They do value returning customers.

I paid 17.3 OTD for a 16 SR. Taxes in California suck. Msrp, taxes, license and registration. No other fees.

Interesting, Brian, I had the opposite experience regarding service. I guess different people prefer different approaches. SF Moto came up with the KLX idea for the brake squeal.

That's interesting - maybe SF Moto is more skilled/experienced across the board but haven't figured out Zero-specific issues as well. Definitely use the shop that works best for you!

That seems like a pretty good deal. Where did you buy the bike? I was quoted 16.5 OTD for a 2016 S
