Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / throttle replacement
« on: June 20, 2015, 09:53:34 PM »
just let everybody know I was beginning to have problems with the throttle on my sr. I would just barely turn the throttle on and get to bars and the bike with jump instead of a smooth acceleration. and at 45 to 50 miles per hour are you would barely decrease the throttle and immediately go into regine. I replaced the throttle with a domino.  I believe this Throttle is better than the original. motorcycle has 17,500 miles on it. runs like a new one now.

H regime, I like your idea for power supplier. I would like to make one for my 2014 . Sr I would like to run it on single phase 220. I assume you run one hot wire to each psu pin 23. Each psu is running on 110 volt. On the out put  pin v+ 1 2 4  is each  pin supplying 7.3 amps output in order to get 22 amps total?

hi Jason, when I got my 2014 SR I had the same problems you are describing. if you take the seat off and the side cover you can get to the 5 wire plug going into the DC DC converter. I could wiggle this plug back and forth and make my lights go off and on. I ended up taking the 5 wire plug off and bending the tabs just slightly plug it back in and haven't had any more problems remember one of those wires is hot all the time. Jim
