The motor creates power when it's pushed.  There doesn't need to be any power applied to it.

No, something turns on if the bike is pushed.  My washing machine does the same thing.

Pretty!

The white noise is not the same as the percolating noise.  If you just push the bike you only get the percolating noise, and even if the bike is off - but not if the bike has suffered an error or battery forced shutdown,

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Re: Zero SR/F won't charge
« on: October 25, 2021, 09:28:31 AM »
I don't even know why it wouldn't charge.  Charging is pretty binary and doesn't have much software control in a Zero.  The chargers kinds just go on or off and follow their very simple charge curve based on the voltage of the pack and the number of chargers engaged is based off the resistance loop on the charging station.

You don't need it, but it makes the sound anyhow.  The sound doesn't change based upon toque settings, but the difficulty to push it does.  No one else's bike does it.

Yes, the bike makes a 'coffee brewing' sound when you move it.  It's a pedestrian warning system.

Minimum is minimum.  It has nothing to do with maximum.

At the minimum, it stops providing the right conversion.

Riding a class-three e-bike makes you feel like a god, I swear.

I figured that since you'd said the Zero was too expensive you must have meant some other competitor you were waiting on delivery of.

Don't forget they've been selling e-bikes in partnership with another company so they're not entirely out of the loop, too.

Of the big manufacturers, they're the ones with toes in the water... a few have scooters, but...

We'll see.

They always had the cut-off.  They just had to be allowed to use it.

Can't justify the price !
What electric bike can you get with better stats at that price?
I'm not sure, but I put a deposit down and should have it very soon !!
Which one is that?

Standard CCS just goes into charging mode, and the charger handles the direction of the power flow.  I don't know that there are competing standards currently.

What we're saying is that your bike isn't using more than a single battery module.  If it has the Power Tank, it ahould have five modules.  10% over three miles is exactly the performance if the bike was only using the Power Tank.

That's bad.
