Title: BMS maximum balancing current
Post by: centra12 on November 11, 2016, 12:04:13 AM
Hello

Does any of you know how high the  maximum balancing current (A) is before the BMS issues a error message? :-\

At the 2012 Zero, I think were that 3,5A

It can't be more than 10A on the 2013+ models, but that's a upper bound based on studying the board.

Isn't the balancing current in the order of a couple hundred mA, not A?

It's hard to say, but the power draw blips measured at the power outlet indicate something higher. Also, the OP asked about the threshold for an error message, not a typical value, which is concerning.
