Hello,

Anyone around that area know if its safe to ride my motorcycle to Tahoe on Highway 88 now? No snow etc?
I'm looking to ride up there on May 13th and head back to bay area on 14th.

  • Prices goes up by ~$1.5k
  • DSR still around
  • S/DS back to 14.4kWh and same price as FXE 7.2??
  • FXS no more? (makes sense)
  • New colors
  • Anything else I missed?

Anyone tried installing a round headlight on their SR/F? If so which round headlight did you choose? Mind sharing some pics? :)
I see that a round headlight can give a couple of options like a semi-fairing or a round headlight specific windshield.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Aero front fender for an SR/F
« on: November 30, 2021, 01:18:16 PM »
Any of you installed a more aerodynamic front fender on the SR/F?
Like an LSR fender or any Busa/ZX-14R front fenders? If so were any of these straightforward fits?

Hope this gets passed and if it would be retroactive, that would be the best Christmas present for everyone this year!

I'm planning a 200 mile trip and I would have to make a stop at San Francisco for an charge. I see a lot of Tesla destination chargers on plugshare in SF and most are hotels. Do they generally allow folks to charge even if I don't stay there?
Any of you guys have done that before? Just go into the hotel garage and plug in?

  • J1772 -> C13 adapter for the 1.3kW onboard charger
  • Custom made J1772 -> (J1772 + C13) splitter adapter (TucsonEV). This can be used at most 32A+ stations and one J-plug input will go into the ChargeTank and the on-board charger to give a total of upto 7.3kW (67A-70A) from a single plug. Works only with S/DS bikes with a ChargeTank. Will not work with S/DS bikes at 7.2kWh or smaller battery (will easily exceed 1C on those).

Asking price for both together: $175
Location: San Jose, CA
(willing to ship if it can be for a reasonable price)

Buy Sell Trade / (SOLD) 240V 16A EVSE charger
« on: June 01, 2021, 12:17:27 PM »
This is an older generation Duosida charger adapter (~3.86 kW).
Outlet Compatible NEMA L6-20: in addition to a NEMA 5-15 and a 14-50 Plug Adapter set.

It has 3 different output settings 8A (110v), 12A (110v), 16A (240v). Setting changeable by shaking the unit (weird, but it is what it is).

Asking price: $175
Location: SF bay area (San Jose CA)

Any of u tried these on an SR/F or an SR/S? And did it need custom brackets? I'm looking at the ones from airtech streamlining.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Engage onboard charger with CT?
« on: January 19, 2021, 01:37:20 AM »
Is there a way to mode the bikes where we can engage both the CT and the onboard charger for the S/SR/DS/DSR models? I know the bikes used to do this automatically for the older generation ChargeTanks.
I see this as beneficial as i see some 7.3kW Chargepoint stations around and would even benefit when on Tesla destination chargers.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Downloading Battery + bike logs
« on: December 10, 2020, 02:54:00 AM »
After I saw that my SOC kept going up from 43% to 51% when i was parked without charging, I tried to get the bike + battery logs. i saw that getting the logs seemed to take quite sometime and the downloading percent went beyond 200% with no end at sight. I had to abort that particular download as i was running short on time.
Any idea how long this is supposed to take and at what percent is it supposed to be done?

Thanks in advance!
